What we’ll do

A unique kayaking experience where we will paddle at sunset and enjoy the changing frontline of Lemesos. Lemesos is constantly changing and the newly-builds create unique shapes which are more playful during the golden hour. After a small introduction we will start paddling, where at this point usually light winds and small waves could be present. We will cover a short distance (approximately 2.5kms) and we will enjoy Lemesos skyline. During this excursion there won’t be a beach break but if participants feel tired, we will make a small break in the kayaks and we will get more time to meet each other and socialize. Depending on the group stamina and capabilities we would either reach the old port, molos park, or up to the Enaerios pier.

Duration: 1-1.5 hours, but please allow for 1.5-2 hours just in case we decide to enjoy the scenery a bit longer.

Important note

(I) We might expect light wind and waves, and people with known sea sickness are Not advised to participate.
(II) Please note that this excursion is not performed where there are facilities like changing rooms and toilets, either at the beginning of the excursion or during the break.

Other things to note

This activity is offers as an experience. Participants should however expect moderate work out but we also adjust to the group strength and stamina.
Most of the kayaks are double, so there is a chance you will be sitting and socializing with someone else.

What’s included

Sit-on-top sea kayaks by Ocean Kayak are provided, with associated equipment (Paddle and PFD). Sit-on-tops offer superior stability and the easy of access in case we deiced to go swimming!
Photographs are very hard at low lighting conditions but we will try and take some and send a link on a later date to download them.

Where we’ll meet

We will meet at Akti Olympion in Lemesos, at the boat corridor opposite the former Debenhams building, and next to the Crown Plaza hotel and Columbia beach bar restaurant.
