All our kayak excursions include paddling (non-continuous) in a relaxed pace, with time to snorkel, relax on the beach, swim or have a coffee. We always ask your experience and your confidence prior the trip, in order to have a stable and comfortable paddling pace between the group.

We grew up in these areas and been kayaking for several years. Through the quest of activities in Cyprus we have decided to create Sea Kayak Cyprus and make it our profession.
Sea enthusiast/Kayaker
Born and raised in Lemesos, started canoe-kayak-sprint-water in year 1999 and is addicted ever since! Holder of first aid certificate (EFR) and trained Lifeguard instructor where he has been working on the Lemesos beach for over 10 years.
Kayak fisherman guru
Knows the sea like the back of his hand. A kayak fisherman with great knowledge of the sea creatures and dangers.

We offer transportation, upon request and availability, from hotels or from rendez-vouz points within the Lemesos city limits. We apologize but at the moment we do not offer any pickup service for individuals outside Lemesos.

We are equipped with sit-on-tops singles and tandem kayaks from Ocean Kayak and Carlisle high and low angle paddles. We also carry safety equipment such as towlines, VHF radios, first aid kits and repair kits with us at any single trip to ensure safety. The choice of sit-on-tops was made due to the superior stability offered compared with the sit-in kayaks and the easy of access in case we deiced to go swimming! Additionally the Cyprus weather provides the optimum temperature for the sit-on-tops use and the kayaker is in constant contact with the water to cool down.
Depending on the tour, the group and the duration, we usually have either one or two stops. At one of the stops we offer snack-fruits from fresh local products. Our snack must be light in order to continue paddling and swim. In the case of private or group bookings, the snack/lunch can be discussed and changed according to the group needs.
A condition we set, is for all paddlers to have basic knowledge of swimming (applies also for all children) and for children to be accompanied by, at least, one adult. Furthermore, the paddlers must not have any sea or fish related allergies (for example to jellyfish). Children under 12, can sit between the parents on double kayak, provided that two adults, of at least one parent, is paddling.
